There is a small shop or company in Canada that sells racing memorabilia like this — Drivers' estates typically liquidated them, as they weren't the mega-rich of F1 drivers today. In addition to trophies, drivers often received very nice watches and typically presented their crews with watches after wins, usually with an engraving on the back. You can buy Fangio's or Nuvallari's own very elegant watch, provided you bring a lot of cheddar.
I met a gent whose even-numbered (factory) Ferrari racer won a few big races and he now has all the trophies, watches, ribbons and even the clothing used in those races. It's very cool.

That is such a good-looking engine...it's almost as if streamlining and late Art Deco were being applied to blocks as well as bodies!

Someone should take Hamilton for a field trip.

If only I could buy a computer power supply with cooling fins.

Hey, waitaminute. Shouldn't these be made from car parts? This could easily be one of those cone bits they used to put on supercar engines...

Looks like someone visited the MB Museum, which is a good way to spend a day in Stuttgart.

I've put together a gallery of some other pictures from the MB museum in Germany here.

There's a shop in Yorkville here in Canada that deals in this sort of stuff - trophies and drivers' suits and other memorabilia, in addition to the deluxe scale car models and posters. Very nice, but very, very expensive.

Unfortunately they don't make it anymore but Thermaltake used to make an awesome passive copper fin PSU.
Antec also used to make this

You'd imagine that the Mercedes F1 team might have taken a bit more time with the composition wouldn't you?
I mean it's not like they probably have free access to the place without customers or anything.

Oh, too bad. And yeah, they look like typical tourist pics (I've taken a few hundred myself), funny.

Those ones up top were similar to what I took, but I have a lot more from when I was in Germany a few years ago. They even start the tour with a stuffed horse.

That's got to be the guy! He has truly amazing stuff that encompasses racing's golden age. Not cheap, but history like that probably shouldn't be. After all, if you own a historic race-winning car, driven to victory by Von Trapps, having his trophy too makes driving it all the more special. Cheers!

Here he is:
http://www.collectorstudio.com/
According to his site, recent arrivals at the store include a Senna McLaren race suit and stopwatches used in the movie LeMans . The first time I went there he watched me like a hawk when I walked around the store, gawping like a kid. It was only after I'd asked a few vaguely knowledgeable questions about the stock and F1 history that he even told me about the second floor, where all the really nice stuff is.

I like the second one, but it's a shame they don't make it anymore.
